The Listening Tree & Falling Petals - Author: Joyce Ann+ Edmondson

The Listening Tree contains stories about faith, hope, love, children, grandchildren, families, friends, imaginary situations and visions of what the author and others have described as the kingdom of God—already here, not yet. These are stories of life in the South, high school days, college, marriage, death and renewal, and a Redemptorist priest who introduces a young girl to her faith in God. These life-filled stories include Scriptural references that depict real day-to-day situations. How Grandmother learns to meet the challenges of everyday life by inspiring a family to grow in Christ is entertaining as well as inspirational.

Falling Petals is the poetic expression of the author’s fifty-year search for meaning in life. It represents her thoughts and emotions about humor, birth, death, renewal, motherhood, fatherhood, love and nature.

Born and raised with no particular faith, she nevertheless searched inwardly and outwardly until God answered her prayer in an extraordinary way through his Word and the Body of Christ.

The author believes that sometimes God reveals his love for humanity in the lifetime of a person by sharing her joys and sorrows through experiences of faith and prayer. These poems reflect a young girl’s experiences through her teenage to golden years, on her challenging and rewarding journey.

Joyce Ann Edmondson read, studied and collected poetry from an early age. Her first book, "
The Listening Tree," has received commendations from churches, schools and authors. Spending many years in religious education while serving her church––today, in her golden years, she writes of her experiences, paints children’s portraits and travels with her husband.

In the Arms of the Shepherd is the poignant memoir of a young girl's lifetime search for faith and the people she meets along the way who deeply influence her spiritual growth. At sixteen, she has a prayerful encounter with God, envisioning her mission to help her family.

After a searching and lonely time in college and New York City, feeling lost and abandoned, she returns to her southern home after experiencing the death of her mother. A Redemptorist priest, an Order of Sisters, and a family living a committed life assist her recovery. She at first accepts without question the doctrine and practices of a living faith that enfolds and instructs her, but later confronts difficulties and failures within its fold. With the help of God's grace, she goes forward in faith, ultimately believing the Shepherd has been with her throughout her journey. By overcoming challenges that result in her growth in faith, hope and love, she is at last reconciled with the Body of Christ and her large Christian family.

The Secret of Healing - Author: Sam Adetona

Sam Adetona is the pastor of Harvest Mission Outreach in London. He once suffered a chronic impediment of speech, which man thought was incurable, but in that obscured penitent clause, God miraculously healed him in 1992, when the Holy Spirit appeared to him. This visitation came as he went before God for an answer when he could no longer endure the agony of a Church friend, who suffered a severe incurable skin disease (eczema). When he found this answer, God also gave him victory over the impediment of speech that once plagued his life.

This presence of God has since changed his entire life, and afterward he was called into the ministry to work as a pastor.

Many have been healed, saved and delivered everywhere he goes. It’s a privilege to be able to let people know that God cares, and believing in Him isn’t bizarre.

A Nanosecond to Eternity - Author: Don Montgomery

IS THERE A HEAVEN IN OUR FUTURE ?

The Bible has many references to Heaven,  especially in Revelation to John.   In Revelation,John describes heaven at great length, the immense size of it         and   the breathtaking beauty of the exterior radiance,  like a most rare jewel,  like a jasper, clear as crystal.

Don Montgomery has used this information to concoct a story about a man who has lived out his life on earth and is now           enjoying a most wonderful, exciting           existence in heaven.

Bob Tyler, the main character in this story, tells us about meeting his guardian              angel  Thomas. Through Thomas, Bob           meets his now deceased earthly family          and all of them are given a grand tour of heaven with all of it’s grandeur,     interesting places to see, great places to dine, exciting things to do.

Thomas also shows them on a lifelike TV screen, the horrendous future that will         befall the inhabitants of  earth. He shows them how God destroys the earth, in a ball     of fire, and then restores our planet to a      much better livable place, which will last         for one thousand years.

The story ends with a BIG, HUGE, FANTASTIC, SURPRISE.

An Arranged Departure - Author: Patsy Culp Hall

From Sharecropper to an Angel Escort to Heaven;

One Christian Woman’s Difficult Journey Through Life.

"An Arranged Departure",  is my memoirs of my mother's life, from her early difficult childhood, her young married life as a sharecropper, the birth of her 11 children, the death of four children and her husband, and her death at age 90 when she died of ovarian cancer.

My mother was born into a world that would be full of asperity, heartaches, impoverished and very trying times. But all of these difficulties proved to be just a bump in the road for this woman of such strength, self-determination, will power. A Christian woman who never lost her faith and love for her Lord. A woman who never questioned God’s word, and never once asked "Why me?" A strong woman who read her bible daily and prayed every night before she went to sleep.

"An Arranged Departure" , describes true angelic experiences my sister and I encountered the night my mother died.
